BlueTheme Docs

License & update server API

BlueTheme talks to the server set in Theme Options → Global → License & updates → Update server URL. While that field is empty, the theme makes no license or update requests.

Every request is an HTTP POST with a form-encoded body (so the key never appears in a URL), and every reply must be JSON with status 200.

Request body (all endpoints):

Field Example
license ABCD-1234-…
site https://example.ir/
theme bluetheme
version 1.0.0 (installed version)
channel stable or beta

POST {server}/activate

{ "success": true, "expires": "2027-10-28", "message": "Activated" }

success: false with a message shows that message as the license status.

POST {server}/deactivate

Any JSON reply. The site forgets its activation either way.

POST {server}/update

{
  "version": "0.2.0",
  "package": "https://downloads.example.com/bluetheme-0.2.0.zip",
  "url": "https://bluemint.pro/bluetheme/changelog",
  "requires": "6.4",
  "requires_php": "8.0"
}

When version is newer than the installed one, WordPress offers the update under Dashboard → Updates, and downloads package (the theme zip, e.g. the one built by pnpm zip). The server may check the license before returning a package URL. The reply is cached for 12 hours; Check for updates clears the cache.
